Auction result well in line with expectations
In November this year Christies in Sydney held the auction Photographies & Lothar Schirmer's Glamour Collection, which included the work Andy Warhol and Joseph Beuys, Naples, 1980 by Mimmo Jodice. The price achieved of EUR 3,780.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mimmo Jodice have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Anamnesi, 2014 in November 2020 with an auction result of EUR 18,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Sydney die Auktion Photographies & Lothar Schirmer's Glamour Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Andy Warhol and Joseph Beuys, Naples, 1980 von Mimmo Jodice zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 3.780,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mimmo Jodice auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Anamnesi, 2014 im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.750,00.
