Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2020 Il Ponte held the auction Fotografia, which included the work Paesaggio 1984 by Mimmo Jodice. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 850.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mimmo Jodice achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Anamnesi, 2014 in November 2020 with an auction result of EUR 18,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2020 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Fotografia durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paesaggio 1984 von Mimmo Jodice zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 850,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mimmo Jodice erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Anamnesi, 2014 im November 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.750,00.
