Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Explosion by Mikuláš Medek was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2020. It changed hands for a price of GBP 69,300.00 (€ 77,362.19) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mikuláš Medek achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sorrow of the IVth Inquisitor in October last year with an auction result of GBP 731,100.00 (€ 851,723.40).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Explosion von Mikuláš Medek kam im November 2020 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 69.300,00 (€ 77.362,19) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mikuláš Medek erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sorrow of the IVth Inquisitor im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 731.100,00 (€ 851.723,40).
