Die Arbeit Czech too Much Alcohol Ii (Vodka) von Mikuláš Medek kam im Dezember 2015 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 100.000,00 (€ 135.795,19) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mikuláš Medek auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sorrow of the IVth Inquisitor im Oktober letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 731.100,00 (€ 851.723,40).
