Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Saint Barbara by Mikhail Nesterov was sold in the Russian Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in November 2008. The price achieved of GBP 61,250.00 (€ 74,055.85) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mikhail Nesterov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Winter in June 2014 with an auction result of GBP 782,500.00 (€ 977,696.31).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Saint Barbara von Mikhail Nesterov wurde im November 2008 in der Auktion Russian Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 61.250,00 (€ 74.055,85) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Nesterov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Winter im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 782.500,00 (€ 977.696,31).
