Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2018 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work A Lonely Woman by Mikhail Nesterov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 370,000.00 (€ 418,163.06), 23% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikhail Nesterov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter, which sold at auction in June 2014 for GBP 782,500.00 (€ 977,696.31).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2018 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Lonely Woman von Mikhail Nesterov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 370.000,00 (€ 418.163,06) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Mikhail Nesterov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für GBP 782.500,00 (€ 977.696,31) versteigert wurde.
