Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

It achieved a price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,586.70), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mikhael Subotzky - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Self-portrait (with the help of optometrist) R and L from Retinal Shift, which sold at auction in November 2018 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,019.16).
