Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Not Warhol (Campbell's Soup Can, Vegetable Soup, 1962) by Mike Bidlo was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,125.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mike Bidlo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Not Picasso (Bather with Beachball, 1932) in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,260,000.00 (€ 1,174,168.30).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Not Warhol (Campbell's Soup Can, Vegetable Soup, 1962) von Mike Bidlo kam im September 2018 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.125,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mike Bidlo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Not Picasso (Bather with Beachball, 1932) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.260.000,00 (€ 1.174.168,30).
