It achieved a price of SEK 26,000.00 (€ 2,556.77), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 30%. Admittedly, works by Mikael Jansson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Kendall Jenner, New York studio in May 2017 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,228.11).

Die Arbeit "Helena, Havana, Cuba", 1993 von Mikael Jansson wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 26.000,00 (€ 2.556,77) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 30%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mikael Jansson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kendall Jenner, New York studio im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.228,11).
