Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2016 Phillips in London held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Negative Entropy (Langhorne Carpet Mill, Double) by Mika Tajima. The price achieved of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,809.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Other works by Mika Tajima have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2021 the work Negative Entropy (Edward J Darby & Son Inc., Pennsylvania Wire Works, Double) was auctioned for EUR 16,250.00.

Im Februar 2016 führte Phillips in London die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Negative Entropy (Langhorne Carpet Mill, Double) von Mika Tajima zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.809,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Mika Tajima konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2021 die Arbeit Negative Entropy (Edward J Darby & Son Inc., Pennsylvania Wire Works, Double) für EUR 16.250,00 versteigert.
