Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2008 a collector was able to acquire this work without title by Miguel Ángel Ríos for USD 1,375.00 (€ 883.68). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Sale Evening Session at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Miguel Ángel Ríos achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sudamérica in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 14,100.00 (€ 16,676.52).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai 2008 konnte ein Sammler diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Miguel Ángel Ríos für USD 1.375,00 (€ 883,68) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Sale Evening Session bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Miguel Ángel Ríos erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sudamérica im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 14.100,00 (€ 16.676,52).
