In November 2009 Phillips in London held the auction Music, which included the work Lou Reed, ‘Transformer’, cover, London, July by Mick Rock. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,556.71), 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by Mick Rock have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,976.90) in October 2013 for the work David Bowie - Saxophone Session.
