The result of SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,912.56) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mick Rock - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work David Bowie - Saxophone Session, which sold at auction in October 2013 for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,976.90).

Die Arbeit "Life on Mars", 1973 von Mick Rock wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.912,56) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mick Rock mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit David Bowie - Saxophone Session beobachtet, die im Oktober 2013 für USD 8.125,00 (€ 5.976,90) versteigert wurde.
