Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Michiel Ceulers was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in April 2018. The price achieved of GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,253.51) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michiel Ceulers - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work In Search of Image Nation: A Promise of the Status Quo, which sold at auction in October 2014 for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 23,941.04).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Michiel Ceulers wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.253,51) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Michiel Ceulers mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit In Search of Image Nation: A Promise of the Status Quo beobachtet, die im Oktober 2014 für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 23.941,04) versteigert wurde.
