Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Holy Family With The Infant Saint John The Baptist by Michele Tosini was auctioned at Sothebys in London in December 2011. The price achieved of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 29,941.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michele Tosini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a man, seated, with his dog in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 474,800.00 (€ 556,801.45).
