Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Cleopatra by Michele Tosini was auctioned at Christies in London in February this year. The price achieved of GBP 35,280.00 (€ 40,241.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michele Tosini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a man, seated, with his dog in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 474,800.00 (€ 556,801.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Cleopatra von Michele Tosini kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 35.280,00 (€ 40.241,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 25.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michele Tosini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a man, seated, with his dog im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 474.800,00 (€ 556.801,45).
