This artwork by Michele Tosini achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in December 2018. In the Old Masters Day Sale auction, the work Head of a young woman sold for GBP 118,750.00 (€ 132,298.03) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michele Tosini have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of a man, seated, with his dog in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 474,800.00 (€ 556,801.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Michele Tosini erzielte im Dezember 2018 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Head of a young woman für GBP 118.750,00 (€ 132.298,03) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 50.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michele Tosini auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Portrait of a man, seated, with his dog im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 474.800,00 (€ 556.801,45).
