A top price for Michele Tosini - as previously expected
The work Portrait of a man, seated, with his dog by Michele Tosini was sold in the Old Masters Evening Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2021. The price achieved of GBP 474,800.00 (€ 556,801.45) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400,000.00 – 600,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Portrait of a man, seated, with his dog is the most expensive artwork by Michele Tosini that we have observed at auctions so far.
