Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale, which included the work The Holy Family With St Elizabeth And The Young St John The Baptist by Michele Tosini. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 185,000.00 (€ 251,221.11), 23% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michele Tosini - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait of a man, seated, with his dog, which sold at auction in July 2021 for GBP 474,800.00 (€ 556,801.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Holy Family With St Elizabeth And The Young St John The Baptist von Michele Tosini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 185.000,00 (€ 251.221,11) und damit 23% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Michele Tosini mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait of a man, seated, with his dog beobachtet, die im Juli 2021 für GBP 474.800,00 (€ 556.801,45) versteigert wurde.
