In January 2016 Sothebys in New York held the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale, which included the work Portrait Of A Young Boy, Bust Length, Facing Left, Dressed In A Maroon Doublet And Cap by Michele Tosini. The »bidding war« ended at USD 45,000.00 (€ 41,543.57), 50% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michele Tosini achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of a man, seated, with his dog in July 2021 with an auction result of GBP 474,800.00 (€ 556,801.45).

Im Januar 2016 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Portrait Of A Young Boy, Bust Length, Facing Left, Dressed In A Maroon Doublet And Cap von Michele Tosini zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 45.000,00 (€ 41.543,57) und damit 50% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michele Tosini erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of a man, seated, with his dog im Juli 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 474.800,00 (€ 556.801,45).
