Upper estimate price exceeded by 30 %.
In December 2015 Il Ponte held the auction Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, which included the work Piazzetta di Portofino by Michele Cascella. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,500.00 30% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michele Cascella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paris, Les Tuileries in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 157,000.00 (€ 103,377.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 30 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2015 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea durch, in der auch die Arbeit Piazzetta di Portofino von Michele Cascella zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.500,00 und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michele Cascella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paris, Les Tuileries im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 157.000,00 (€ 103.377,89).
