Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December this year Il Ponte held the auction 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Barche a vela by Michele Cascella. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,200.00 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michele Cascella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paris, Les Tuileries in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 157,000.00 (€ 103,377.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Barche a vela von Michele Cascella zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.200,00 und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michele Cascella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paris, Les Tuileries im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 157.000,00 (€ 103.377,89).
