Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Paesaggio by Michele Cascella was sold in the Arte Moderna e Contemporanea auction at Il Ponte in December 2015. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 2,600.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michele Cascella achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Paris, Les Tuileries in February 2008 with an auction result of USD 157,000.00 (€ 103,377.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Paesaggio von Michele Cascella wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion Arte Moderna e Contemporanea bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 2.600,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michele Cascella erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Paris, Les Tuileries im Februar 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 157.000,00 (€ 103.377,89).
