In April this year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Modern Art, which included the work Paysage by Michel Kikoïne. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,560.00 64% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Michel Kikoïne have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life Of Flowers in November 2008 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 45,038.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 64 % übertroffen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage von Michel Kikoïne zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.560,00 und damit 64% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michel Kikoïne auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life Of Flowers im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 45.038,05).
