In November 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Israeli and International Art, which included the work Fleurs Et Nature Morte A La Mandoline by Michel Kikoïne. The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,612.85) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michel Kikoïne - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Still Life Of Flowers, which sold at auction in November 2008 for GBP 37,250.00 (€ 45,038.05).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2019 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Israeli and International Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fleurs Et Nature Morte A La Mandoline von Michel Kikoïne zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.612,85) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Michel Kikoïne mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Still Life Of Flowers beobachtet, die im November 2008 für GBP 37.250,00 (€ 45.038,05) versteigert wurde.
