In May 2011 Christies in London held the auction Vintage Posters, which included the work 24 H Du Mans, 1959 by Michel Beligond. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,144.63), 38% above the upper estimate. With this result, 24 H Du Mans, 1959 is even the most expensive work of art by Michel Beligond that we have observed at auctions so far.
