A top price for Michael Riley - as previously expected
The work Untitled (Boomerang) From The Series Cloud by Michael Riley was sold in the Aboriginal Art auction at Sothebys in Melbourne in July 2009. The price achieved of AUD 12,000.00 (€ 6,793.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Untitled (Boomerang) From The Series Cloud is the most expensive artwork by Michael Riley that we have observed at auctions so far.
