Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2016 Christies in London held the auction First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | London, which included this untitled work by Michael Riedel. The price achieved of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 34,743.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 28,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Riedel - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 7, which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 50,000.00 (€ 69,937.51).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion First Open | Post-War and Contemporary Art | London durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Michael Riedel zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 30.000,00 (€ 34.743,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 28.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Michael Riedel mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 7 beobachtet, die im Oktober 2015 für GBP 50.000,00 (€ 69.937,51) versteigert wurde.
