Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2005 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART, which included the work Crescent moon by Michael Parkes. The price achieved of EUR 14,400.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 12,000.00 – 16,000.00. Other works by Michael Parkes have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2005 the work Tea was auctioned for EUR 15,600.00.

Im November 2005 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY ART INCLUDING BELGIAN ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Crescent moon von Michael Parkes zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 14.400,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 12.000,00 – 16.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Michael Parkes konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2005 die Arbeit Tea für EUR 15.600,00 versteigert.
