Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Michael Kidner was sold in the Modern & Post-War British Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,072.18) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Kidner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Orange And White Painting in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,470.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Michael Kidner wurde im November 2014 in der Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.072,18) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Kidner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Orange And White Painting im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.470,34).
