Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Michael Kidner was sold in the 20th Century British & Irish Art auction at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2007. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,136.89) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Kidner achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Orange And White Painting in June 2017 with an auction result of GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,470.34).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Michael Kidner wurde im Juni 2007 in der Auktion 20th Century British & Irish Art bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.136,89) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Kidner erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Orange And White Painting im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.470,34).
