The work Red-Blue Raindrops by Michael Kidner was sold in the Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale auction at Christies in London in June 2014. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 6,250.00 (€ 7,809.08), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Michael Kidner - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Orange And White Painting, which sold at auction in June 2017 for GBP 25,000.00 (€ 28,470.34).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Red-Blue Raindrops von Michael Kidner wurde im Juni 2014 in der Auktion Modern British & Irish Art Day Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 6.250,00 (€ 7.809,08) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Michael Kidner mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Orange And White Painting beobachtet, die im Juni 2017 für GBP 25.000,00 (€ 28.470,34) versteigert wurde.
