Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ratcliffe Power Station, Study #31, Nottinghamshire, England by Michael Kenna was sold in the Photographs auction at Bonhams in New York in April 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 1,402.50 (€ 1,165.84) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Michael Kenna have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Six works: Kussharo Lake Tree; Incense Holders; Dusk Island Shrine; Island Shrine; Hashikui Rocks; Tree and Mountain in December 2020 with an auction result of USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,242.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Ratcliffe Power Station, Study #31, Nottinghamshire, England von Michael Kenna wurde im April 2021 in der Auktion Photographs bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 1.402,50 (€ 1.165,84) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00.
