Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Seascape #1 by Michael Goldberg was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in September 2020. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,800.82) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Goldberg achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Park Avenue Façade in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 461,000.00 (€ 337,976.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Seascape #1 von Michael Goldberg wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.800,82) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Goldberg erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Park Avenue Façade im Mai 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 461.000,00 (€ 337.976,54).
