This artwork by Michael Farrell achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in August 2007. In the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction, the work From Yeats sold for GBP 1,320.00 (€ 1,951.31) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Farrell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Third Very Real Irish Political Picture in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 36,000.00 (€ 52,976.44).

Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Farrell erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Third Very Real Irish Political Picture im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 36.000,00 (€ 52.976,44).
