Die Arbeit Kopf von Michael Croissant kam im Juni 2021 bei Lempertz in Köln zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 6.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Michael Croissant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Kopf im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 31.250,00.
