It achieved a price of GBP 1,536.00 (€ 1,787.64), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Craig-Martin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work With Red Shoes in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 325,000.00 (€ 381,791.28).

Die Arbeit Painting von Michael Craig-Martin wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Bonhams versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.536,00 (€ 1.787,64) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Craig-Martin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit With Red Shoes im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 325.000,00 (€ 381.791,28).
