Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2015 a collector was able to acquire the work Blinds And Shutters by Michael Cooper for EUR 758.00. This price was achieved in the auction Photography Bruno Mouron Collection at Artcurial and was even below the estimate range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Cooper achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, 1967 in March 2015 with an auction result of USD 161,000.00 (€ 149,892.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2015 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Blinds And Shutters von Michael Cooper für EUR 758,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Photography Bruno Mouron Collection bei Artcurial erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Cooper erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, 1967 im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 161.000,00 (€ 149.892,93).
