Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Portrait Of Victor Willing At The Seaside by Michael Andrews was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 70,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 75,000.00 (€ 84,597.72). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Michael Andrews achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Near Malu Kata Evening, Katatjuta (The Olgas) in June 2016 with an auction result of GBP 1,265,000.00 (€ 1,518,412.80).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Portrait Of Victor Willing At The Seaside von Michael Andrews kam im November 2018 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 70.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 75.000,00 (€ 84.597,72) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Michael Andrews erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Near Malu Kata Evening, Katatjuta (The Olgas) im Juni 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.265.000,00 (€ 1.518.412,80).
