Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2019 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Contemporary Ink, which included the work Mirror Of The Mind by Mi-Li-Tsun Nan. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 60,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,868.42). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mi-Li-Tsun Nan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Backyard – Old Tree of Hometown 9, which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,264.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2019 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Contemporary Ink durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mirror Of The Mind von Mi-Li-Tsun Nan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 60.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.868,42) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Mi-Li-Tsun Nan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Backyard – Old Tree of Hometown 9 beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.264,64) versteigert wurde.
