Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2021 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings, which included the work Central Cross-Island Highway by Mi-Li-Tsun Nan. It changed hands for a price of HKD 68,750.00 (€ 7,644.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mi-Li-Tsun Nan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Backyard – Old Tree of Hometown 9, which sold at auction in May 2017 for HKD 212,500.00 (€ 24,264.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2021 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Fine Chinese Modern and Contemporary Ink Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Central Cross-Island Highway von Mi-Li-Tsun Nan zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 68.750,00 (€ 7.644,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Mi-Li-Tsun Nan mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Backyard – Old Tree of Hometown 9 beobachtet, die im Mai 2017 für HKD 212.500,00 (€ 24.264,64) versteigert wurde.
