The work Souvenir du ''Déjeuner en fourrure'' by Meret Oppenheim was auctioned at Christies in Skinner Marlborough, Mass in October this year. It achieved a price of EUR 15,120.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Meret Oppenheim achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Condition Humaine in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 197,000.00 (€ 232,440.63).

Die Arbeit Souvenir du ''Déjeuner en fourrure'' von Meret Oppenheim kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Christies in Skinner Marlborough, Mass zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 15.120,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Meret Oppenheim erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Condition Humaine im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 197.000,00 (€ 232.440,63).
