Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Mercedes Pardo was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in July 2020. Here, the upper estimate of USD 40,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 43,750.00 (€ 37,158.15). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Mercedes Pardo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Un pequeño sobresalto, which sold at auction in November 2021 for USD 88,200.00 (€ 78,143.00).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Mercedes Pardo wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 40.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 43.750,00 (€ 37.158,15) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Mercedes Pardo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Un pequeño sobresalto beobachtet, die im November 2021 für USD 88.200,00 (€ 78.143,00) versteigert wurde.
