The work Peacock by Merab Abramishvili was auctioned at Christies in London in November 2016. It achieved a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,111.82), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Merab Abramishvili achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Black Panther' in July this year with an auction result of GBP 76,600.00 (€ 89,368.98).

Die Arbeit Peacock von Merab Abramishvili kam im November 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.111,82) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Merab Abramishvili erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Black Panther' im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 76.600,00 (€ 89.368,98).
