Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Merab Abramishvili achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in June 2016. In the Contemporary East auction, the work Georgian three Hundred Aragvians sold for GBP 62,500.00 (€ 75,020.40) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 30,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Merab Abramishvili; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot 'Black Panther' sold at auction in July this year with the realized price of GBP 76,600.00 (€ 89,368.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Merab Abramishvili erzielte im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary East wurde die Arbeit Georgian three Hundred Aragvians für GBP 62.500,00 (€ 75.020,40) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 30.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Merab Abramishvili; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit 'Black Panther' im Juli diesen Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 76.600,00 (€ 89.368,98).
