In December 2015 Sothebys in London held the auction 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective, which included the work Georgian piano by Merab Abramishvili. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 25,000.00 (€ 33,948.80), 39% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Merab Abramishvili - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Black Panther', which sold at auction in July this year for GBP 76,600.00 (€ 89,368.98).

Im Dezember 2015 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective durch, in der auch die Arbeit Georgian piano von Merab Abramishvili zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 25.000,00 (€ 33.948,80) und damit 39% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Merab Abramishvili mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Black Panther' beobachtet, die im Juli diesen Jahres für GBP 76.600,00 (€ 89.368,98) versteigert wurde.
