Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Georgian harem by Merab Abramishvili was sold in the 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective auction at Sothebys in London in December 2015. The price achieved of GBP 17,500.00 (€ 23,764.16) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Merab Abramishvili - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 'Black Panther', which sold at auction in July this year for GBP 76,600.00 (€ 89,368.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Georgian harem von Merab Abramishvili wurde im Dezember 2015 in der Auktion 20th Century Art – A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 17.500,00 (€ 23.764,16) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Merab Abramishvili mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 'Black Panther' beobachtet, die im Juli diesen Jahres für GBP 76.600,00 (€ 89.368,98) versteigert wurde.
