Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Merab Abramishvili achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2017. In the Important Russian Art auction, the work Dancer sold for GBP 18,750.00 (€ 21,284.04) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Merab Abramishvili have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Black Panther' in July this year with an auction result of GBP 76,600.00 (€ 89,368.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Merab Abramishvili erzielte im November 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Russian Art wurde die Arbeit Dancer für GBP 18.750,00 (€ 21.284,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Merab Abramishvili auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Black Panther' im Juli diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 76.600,00 (€ 89.368,98).
