This artwork by Mequitta Ahuja achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2021. In the First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Dream Sequence Sparrow'S Ayah sold for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,621.14) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mequitta Ahuja have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Generator in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 90,628.18).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mequitta Ahuja erzielte im März 2021 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War & Contemporary Art Online wurde die Arbeit Dream Sequence Sparrow'S Ayah für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.621,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Mequitta Ahuja auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Generator im Juli 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 90.628,18).
