This artwork by Mequitta Ahuja achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2020. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Autocartography Iii sold for GBP 52,920.00 (€ 59,076.58) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 18,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Mequitta Ahuja; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Generator sold at auction in July 2020 with the realized price of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 90,628.18).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Mequitta Ahuja erzielte im November 2020 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Autocartography Iii für GBP 52.920,00 (€ 59.076,58) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 18.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Mequitta Ahuja; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Generator im Juli 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 90.628,18).
